I have been working in IT for over 16 years. I have spent the last 7 years working in automation and systems integrations. I started off using Altiris Workflow and have since graduated to Microsoft’s System Center Orchestrator and Service Manager. I have integrated these products alongside Cireson’s apps including the Cireson Analysts Portal and Self-Service Portal. I’m not scared to dive into SQL and have been tinkering in Oracle for some of my latest integrations with Orchestrator. I’m not strong on the C# side of things so I find my Service Manager customizations going the route of PowerShell. I’ve been tinkering with json for portal customizations and web-service calls for even tighter integration with Service Manager and the Cireson portal. I have a passion for automating everything because frankly, why not, I don’t want to have to chase the fire all the time.
I plan on documenting some of the cooler aspects of the automation projects I have completed and tips and tricks I’ve learned to work around the shortcomings of Service Manager and unwieldy requests from the business.
